It's Over Slept through christmas

I don't know if anyone had a more miserable christmas than me, I literally slept through it and woke at 10'o clock at night. Missed christmas dinner at my mums, missed everything, I just did what I usually do, rot in my bedroom apartment. It was just another day for me rotting away in bed. Then I woke to find cat shit on my living room carpet from my kitten. Made some microwave pasta from a bag, watched a bit of wallace & gromit and indiana jones then played some videogames. If you've had a more miserable christmas let me know .

Nice, what time did you wake up?. I didn't sleep the night before as usual which fucked my christmas because I always sleep during the day to catch up. Its a miserable existence, I have serious issues with sleep regulation that I've never addressed, its attributed to depression and anxiety which I've always suffered with. I'm always so fatigued even if I get lots of sleep, its a viscious cycle, I think I need to consult a doctor in the new year for sure.

I woke up at 12 or 1

at night, thats brutal, I woke at 10 at night. I had pasta with brocolli and peas the other week, it was in a steam bag with cheese sauce that you simply microwave for 6 minutes and it retains all the nutrients, better than those cheap microwave meals I usually get. I'm a sucker for convenience because I'm too fuckin lazy to cook, I have an air fryer and microwave thats it.

ye my mental health doesn't give a fuck what year it is, it never leaves me. My resolution last year was to move out which I somehow achieved for the 1st time, but the loneliness remains and I have some cunt in the apartment above me who doesn't stop coughing but I'm just glad to live alone and rot in peace with a kitten instead of people nagging me.

the bills are brutal I can't lie, I'm living off my savings at the moment because I've received nothing from welfare support from the last few months based on my savings which they take into account. I think once it goes below 10k or somethin then I'll receive some welfare housing support. My rent isn't too bad which is about £450 total each month which includes communal heating. I can use as much heating as I want each month as I pay the service charge extra for it alongside my rent. But I still have to pay full costs of energy which was like 150 recently,

then there's water bill £25, tv license £35, broadband with virgin media £25 (for 1st 12 months then £50). Then of course there's shopping every 2 weeks which is over £100 but can vary as the essentials are more frequent (bread and milk which is a bitch to keep buying due to its low shelf life). This just gives you a general ideal of the costs involved. I'm lucky to have a council rented apartment which gives you more security, free repairs and lower housing costs than private rented. Most people have no choice but to go for the latter as you have to wait years for a housing association apartment. For single men we're bottom of the ladder when it comes to priority.
