I dont waste my time with isolation trash like curls etc. unless it has some form of carryover/benefit for the big 3 (squat,bench,deadlift)
 
what programs did you do ? if you don't mind me asking
I do my own style of programing and it can often change a lot.

I can go into tons of detail if you want
 
what I've been doing recently:
Bench 1-2x week
Squat 1-2x week
Deadlift 1-3x month
Rows 1-2x week
weighted chin ups 2-3x week
OHP 1-2x week
Incline close grip pause bench 2-5x month

progression examples -
BENCH
*3x10 then 3x8 then 3x6

3x10 (3 sets of 10 reps)
190 -> 200 -> 205 (STALLED)
*will start 3x8 progession next week. do 3x8 until stalling, then move to 3x6

ROWS
3x10 -> 205 ->
3x11 -> 225 -> 245 ->
3x8 -> 185 -> 200 -> 225 -> 240 -> 250 -> 260
3x6 ->

SQUATS
3x5 -> 205 -> 225 -> 250 -> 275
3x3 -> 325

275x9 -> 315x7 -> 350x2

The only gymcelling worth it is strength cause you're gonna look like shit without steroids anyway
 
If you're gymmaxxing to ascend it really depends on your height and frame.
If you're just gymmaxxing as a cope then go for it.

Same I have done this shit for years. But gains disapper quickly in like a week. The fucking cuck governor closed gyms in my state and I have no home gym. This shit isnt worht doing anymore. I give up tbh.
