I’ve spent 3 years on the game since beta. it’s better than league at least for me and requires much more macroing. I would say go for it, but don’t expect it to be as easy as other MOBAs like league.

Yeah, there's decline, but not past prime, probably just because that shit pubg got released. Plenty of player will return when they're done with pubg, dota is created to be long lasting game.

I played it when you could silently pick your hero, silently play and silently win. But then game become way too normie, I didn't want to comunicate with subhumans on pick stage, to talk with them during game. Also they nerfed couple of useless heroes nobody except me played

I'm not sure about that, but plenty of players joined even in 2016-2017, so better now than never. I believe game have a big future, tbhtbh. Would remain a classic like AoE II or HoMM III, still popular games today.

Drow Ranger. I member her in 2012 with old Ult, she used to be top 1 pub pick with pudge and riki. After nerf nobody cared about the hero, I was only one playing it.
Once I created account and played Drow for 300 games in a row (there was no bans yet), reached 5500 mmr with my own bild. Pro-tards started picking it and icefrog nerfed it like 2 months later. They nerfed "dead" hero nobody picked for 4 years

Hm what? You have to communicate with people a lot. You have to talk in voice chat if you want to win on 6k+ mmr. You have to adapt if some retard picks your favourite hero.

Yeah, icefrog is braindead, he changed hero either to make him overpowered, to make all pro players pick him, then he brutally nerfs the same hero in the next patch. I usually would pick Xin if i could, but only if i was sure to make it as a win. When i don't know what to pick i would always pick Necrolyte, because i love to steal frags with his ult, tbhtbht and now bitches killed him with that Spirit Vessel item hero is completely useless, because he can't regen after frags.

I never talk in voice chat lol and I don't play on that MMR, also if you watch streams not everyone does voice chat like in CS:GO.

I used to pick one hero and play it a lot. 300+ games with Treant, Visage, Brood and Drow (before they become popular, I played 2012-2014). Bans in ranked killed it for me. Also on high ranked games you have to talk a lot if youre not Miracle, I just can't I bearly used chat, like 10 times in 5000 hours
It looks like icefrog and his team just pretend to be working. They nerf some useless hero, then buff them, then do it again, for no reason. They can do it forever since Gabe pays them salary for this "work"
