Now that I think about it, I know she would've gladly dropped any familial obligations to go the movies with Chad/Tyrone, or at least would've made an effort to reschedule for a different time. Surely she wouldn't have waited three months, right?

Your comments are well appreciated. They make me question my intentions, of which I'm not entirely sure. Eventhough sex is out of the question, I do enjoy her company as friend. However, my suspicion is that she makes friends with guys in the hope that they'll forfeit their dignity to become orbiters, thus giving her a free high of sorts. Something to brag to her girl friends about.

I think you can tell by the way she acts if she wants to be your friend or if she wants to take advantage of you. If she cares about you (in a platonic way), is interested in your life and does nice things for you, she is a real friend. If she doesn't pay attention to you, is rather cold and only does nice things as a direct "reward" when you do her a favour, she wants you to be her orbiter.

That is a good thing in my opinion.
