This is the worst fucking platitude I have ever heard and doesn't even apply to this case.
Dodging a bullet only happens when you come close to dating a person, but it falls through, and LATER you find out that they were batshit crazy or something.
For example, Chad dates Becky for a bit, but he doesn't feel a connection for whatever reason. He rejects her, and later she reveals she's obsessive about you and stalks you all over social media and sends you 30 PMs a day when you don't want the attention.
In that case, Chad's dodging a bullet, because he had no idea she was this crazy before.
For a manlet, this is simply not the case. The manlet was not even close to dating this person. She did not see him as a potential partner and was not attracted to him. Literally all that's happening is the manlet shoots his shot and gets turned down because the girl does not see him as worthy of her.
There was no fucking bullet to begin with. The gun was never aimed at him to begin with.
So when you tell us that we "Dodged a bullet" because a girl turned us down because she wasn't sexually attracted to short guys, you're not only giving a worthless platitude but you're misunderstanding the situation.
Now let's say the manlet asked out a dozen girls and they all weren't interested in him because he was short. Did he dodge a dozen bullets? No. That makes no fucking sense. It assumes that the manlet is in the position to pick and choose his partners. The truth is he'd be lucky if any one of these bullets got him.
Manlets don't dodge bullets, they take what they can get.
