I was just talking about the female gaze with some users and it reminded me of my brutal middleschool days. My mindset was that masculinity(or what i thought was masculine atleast)=attraction basically the redpill idea of masculinity. I was gymcelling hard, going to a martial arts gym and even shaved my head jfl just to attract girls. Obviously this has little to do with actual masculinity and nothing to do with the female gaze, especially at that age so the girls must have thought I was fucking retarded. Brutal, atleast it helped (somewhat) with bullying other than the shaving. I still got mocked because of my underdeveloped face ofc
