Parthenogenesis is not the opposite of sexual dimorphism, though.

Sexual reproduction can exist without sexual dimorphism. It's called hermaphroditism and it's quite common among fish species, for instance.

It's completely wrong. Sexual dimorphism is the only way organisms with long life-spans can evolve at the rate they do. There's a reason every animal species has it. It also allows specialization, 50% of the population is for reproduction while 50% can be work/warrior slaves. If it was "retarded" as OP says it wouldn't exist in the first place.
