It's Over Self-improvement and discipline alienates you

It's impossible to be disciplined and socialize with people. Over the past few months, I've developed a regimented routine, going to the gym frequently, being extremely productive, and reading. I can easily get large amounts of work done and keep myself physically and intellectually healthy, but NONE of these self-improvement activities involve socializing with people.

The problem with socializing is that it can't be fixed into a time slot, so you can't put it into a routine.

I can't relate to anyone at all. I view the subject-matter of each social interaction IRL as uncomfortably superficial. I cannot think of anything of substance to talk about.
