Metaphor flopped just like Soul Hackers 2 if they are not making Persona or SMT it will be a flop. Elden ring was a game made on minimal AAA budget since they are reusing shitload of assets and animations from older games and also procedurally made 80% of the game it was pretty shit game and normies just love it like they loved Minecraft despite it's not having any real content everything was made through algorithms. There will be a side ER game that is a roguelike since they have made lazy almost AI made game so why not make easy money on the asset flip? Sonic frontiers was a success and made them a good bit of money. They never put actual effort or budget into sonic anymore after unleashed so they almost always make back a return on investment. 3 million is pretty good for a sonic game. Especially since it's just a low effort asset flip.

Yakuza is already declining in sales. The games are only selling a little over a million each. Like a dragon was their biggest success. If they simply keep reusing assets they'll be able to make back money. However if they try to pump up the budget into an "AAA" game they're in for a nasty surprise .
