Haha, sorry. I've never been a fan of pokemons myself, despite being from the pokemon generation.

But playing this shitty game after all this time when basically nobody plays it anymore seems to be quite hardcore to my philistine eyes.

I still play it occasionally. It has really come a far way from where it started. You now have quests, weathersystem that affects which pokemon spawn inclusive weather boost, you can trade now, friendlist where you can send gifts to each other. Legendary raids although you also can get legendary by quests. Gym system got reworked etc.
