>spam left click on annoying skeletons
>die to the one that suicide bombs you
>respawn on your ship
>spend an hour at the map looking for an island that is so hard to find you have to use a 3rd party map, only to realize the island was right next to you
>see another ship approaching
>its a bunch of little kids talking about fortnite dances in vc
>board my ship
>"hey we're friendly" here add me and ill invite you to my group we need a fourth
>might as well try- solo is boring
>"hey we cant add for some reason you try leaving and we'll invite you back"

>cant rejoin the same server and they refuse to invite me

yea pretty much your not in a forced to be social but its also multiplayer, new world is the game im most excited for because i played the beta and it was very fun.

I've been playing it a bit, almost max level gold horders.
But the game is horribly unbalanced, a 4man, or 2 man will ALWAYS destroy a 1man solo sloop. The moment you die, you can't protect your ship. I just scuttle it so people can't access my shit.

yep i tried looking for a legit group once too from the discord and the people i ended up playing with were a bunch of giga sweaty guys who treated the game like a fucking sailing simulator, i tried to steer the ship when the captain died once and instead of thanking me they got mad and started shittalking how bad i am before kicking me from the group because i somehow fucked everything up

no, they tricked me to leave the server and destroy my ship so we could be in the crew for one ship together, however when i left they never actually invited me to the group and unfriended afterwards. They even dmed me before unfriending, "taking your shit, thanks"
