Logical in the "conforming with the rules of logic" sense not the 'sensible' sense. Practical wisdom or sensibility are things dictated by society and for society, not really objective unlike the rules of formal logic.
So, here goes my syllogisms:
P1: All living things as protoplasm strive to expand their power and dominate their environment.
P2: Humans, as advanced protoplasm, seek to influence the external world (including others humans) and make their power felt.
P3: When influencing others through doing them good fails, our power could be made felt through doing them ill.
C1: The will to influence (and potentially subjugate) other humans is a natural expression of life’s fundamental drive.
C2: Raping and maiming foids and/or shooting a school could be natural expressions of this drive when all else fails.
