The video's main point isn't about Roman revivalism. Instead, it argues that the Roman Empire is the most influential civilization in human history, with its influence persisting in modern culture and systems long after its demise 2,000 years ago. Even the letters we type are Latin, derived from the Romans. The Romans conquered Europe, and after centuries of assimilation under the Roman Empire, post-Roman Europeans came to rule the world, spreading Roman ideals globally.Even the Catholic Church is a 2,000-year-old surviving Roman institution. There are large nations with Romanized cultures, such as those in Southern Europe and Latin America. Heck, even the English language has Latin influence.Have you also looked into the pre-Christian Roman religion? Idk why nobody practices it anymore, you'd think it'd gain in popularity after Mussolini's rule over Italy with his whole Rome thing
I agree with you on all counts aside from the assertion about the Catholic Church. The Catholic Church's first Apostle/Pope was Paul, a Jew who was later crucified by Emperor Nero. Aside from that, I'd say the video's largely correctThe video's main point isn't about Roman revivalism. From that perspective, you're right; the founder was Jewish. The reason I called the Catholic Church "Roman" isn't because of its Jewish origins, but due to its heavily Latinized rituals and architecture. Yes, it's Jewish in the sense that it was founded by a Jew, but it's also Roman in the sense that everything—like liturgy, culture, and clergy—is heavily Latinized.I agree with you on all counts aside from the assertion about the Catholic Church. I'd say that's true up until (((modern))) times. With the introduction of Vatican II and Pope John Paul II seeming determined to shit on everything that made the Catholic Church worth being in, I feel like a lot of the old Latin sensibilities have died with it. This could just be my anti-Catholic bias speaking though, I've never liked the Catholic ChurchFrom that perspective, you're right; the founder was Jewish. Then why do you type in Latin script? Yes, from a literal point of view, Rome is dead, but its informal influence is felt throughout modern times.ROME is DEAD, now it's time for a CALIPHATE
