they're all about a man and his possibilities of having or not having a certain girl(i'm not talking about inceldom because the male protagonists of these works could have hundreds of women if they wanted).
people get excited over this but if you think about it makes zero sense because there are plenty of other possibilites for this carachters, all the drama and the pain stem from an insane fixation over a foid that could be replaced in every moment.
it's like watching a man that is starving to death and refusing all the food because of the fact that he imposed to himself the rule of eating only apples, but there are no apples aviable.
really what's the drama in the example I made, it just makes me think: "wow...this guy must be pretty stupid in order to turn into shit an otherwise easy and pleasurable life"
I can't feel the drama or delude myself into thinking that something relevant is actually happening.
