I remember during COVID I was obsessed with romance anime. I would watch them nonstop thinking I will also get a loving GF in the future,make friends and be happy.
Look at me now. I am a husk of my former self. I dont have any hope left.I cant stand any romance anime anymore since I know IRL foids do not behave like anime ones.

that's cuz it's comedic the only good ones are the comedies. all the bluepilled coming of age shit makes me want to vomit. genkai shoujo nozaki kun is another good rom-com that prioritizes comedy.

Early on, I thought romance animes were great with a comedy twist, but then as I got older it became less tolerable, and now I've been avoiding it for years.

But in rare cases for romance animes, I make Re:Zero like an exemption, but at least there's something more to it than just romance.
