I know it’s not right, but sometimes I think I would rather live with a boyfriend who degrades me like forcing me to have sex when I don’t want to. Even if I’m being violated every night, at least I could say I made it out of my parents’ dysfunctional house where I feel suffocated.

I’m well aware that that mistreatment in romantic relationships should not be taken lightly, but there’s a messed up part of my mind that thinks “he’s so into me that he has to have me, even if he risks being outcasted and going to jail he needs to have his way with me”
