"Equality" ministries pick out some statistics where women are disadvantaged and claim that they are sufficient proof to see why women are discriminated against while completely ignoring all the statistics where men are disadvantaged. For example, I have never seen such an "equality" ministry talk as much about prison sentencing inequality (for the same crimes) as they talked about wage inequality (which does often not even account for the choice of job).
