I've been playing some older games recently and holy smokes ... are they fun. Even though the graphics are bad, everything else is magnificent. You can really tell that the developers were putting thought, energy and passion into the game. Something modern games are lacking c o m p l e t e l y.

I just installed Need For Speed Most Wanted and played it 4 hours straight, holy shit son, the sound design of the cars in combination with the incredible soundtrack is orgasmic. The sense of speed is unmatched.

I've also been playing Half-Life (1998), oh my god, the creativity is just insane. Ressources were so limitied back then but developers made use of it in such creative ways ... unreal.

Zoomers just don't understand how GOOD things used to be.
