It's funny how people forget that almost all politicians are first and foremost Freemasons.
As well, as the vast majority of the liberal and secular Jews happens to be Freemasons. You won't find many pious Jews in their ranks. But, sure blame the Religion for it.

No, they didn't, they always wanted to keep privileged/underprivileged people and inequalities before the Law.
As in the 19th century, they wanted to keep slavery, nowadays they switched in a way, by putting some group of people in over-privileged positions, that's why Democrats are the biggest supporters of Atheism/Secularism, Feminism, LGBTs, and create false fights between different groups. They are the strongest fighters against the straight Christian White men and the nuclear family, the real underprivileged group nowadays.
