what is the difference between redpill and blackpill?
Fucking gold, foids and normalfaggots won't ever admit how well these represent reality.
The redpill is recognizing there’s a problem (feminism, hypergamy) and trying to overcome it. Now the blackpill? It’s giving up as it’s seen as being futile.
I have to disagree with your definition here because it makes the black pill sound illogical and idiotic, also you are applying actions to what is merely a mindset.

A nihilist could say based on that perspective there's no point in doing anything so they might as well just be a neet
A nihilist could say based on that perspective there's no point in caring about morals, so they kill whoever they want to satisfy their rage, they will go ER
A nihilist could say based on that perspective that they want to change the world to their benefit, and they may take an active role in trying to change that world, not for any moral reasons or grand scheme, but simply because it would entertain them or benefit them.
To simplify the black pill as "giving up" is putting all black pill thought in a box and leaving all of us with one option, DOING NOTHING.

Redpill isn't pessimistic. Sometimes it's even more optimistic than the bluepill.
In what respects, give some examples?
For example a blue pill concept is that personality matters, the red pill version of that concept is that looks matter more than personality, the black pill version of that concept is that personality doesn't matter at all, its all just about looks.
I don't know of any red pilled version of a concept that is more optimistic than its blue pilled counterpart. Give me an example.
