I played redout for a while but I'm too retarded to control the ships. I think it also had some tuning stuff to do for each kind of track/race which I am also too retarded and impatient to learn.

Ah 12 chassis is bullshit. This game is all about aesthetics. One thing that put me off about the game was how limited the ships were.

It has a pretty steep learning curve. I was pretty frustrated until I watched a tutorial that explained how to strafe. Now many hours in I'm getting gold medals on the highest speed races, granted I'm not even playing at the highest difficulty. Apparently the sequel is more accessible. I think there was only like 6 chassis in the original. I also only yesterday realized you could change the colors of the ships.
