Discussion Reading Marco Polo’s travels. Chinese and Russians are described as good looking, but he says Black Africans look like demons

he described both Russian men and women as attractive, and in his Chinese travels, on more than one occasions he described the locals as “well made”. Yet he said blacks resemble demons and Andaman islanders (not African but black and nappy as having “dog faces”
Yet in our time, blacks do better in picking up foids (of all races) than East Asians and Slavs.
Thoughts? Were aesthetic preferences different in the Middle Ages?
or do foids simply have weird tastes?

Russians are whiter than meds jfl. Lots of them have blue eyes. Maybe because he was a man and not a foid and he saw chinese as smart people and judged them by character and wanted to write good things about them instead of smearing shit on them.
