I don't understand the normie advice to speak out about mental health issues when doing so can get ur arse sectioned in a secure facility. Everyone advocates the importance of 'reaching out' for support but then you're carted off under segregation.

You're essentially treated like a lab rat, made to feel like a zombie under the influence of anti psychotic medication. I understand the purpose of detaining someone who is at risk of extreme violent behaviours but there's many sufferers who pose no threat to society. Many of us here wish we never woke up lets face it, but simply acknowledging that to the health service can have grave consequences for our free will and liberty. So how the fuck are we expected to deal with our considerable issues if the fear of solitary confinement prevents us from doing so?.

Many mass murders could have been prevented if there wasn't such trepidation around reaching out for support, with complete transparency about our unwanted thoughts and feelings. There's no accountability for how fucked the system is, I guess its just more convenient to scapegoat the 'mad' lonely suicidal man or the 'terrorist' from west africa because god forbid the system ever changes to facilitate appropriate measures for the lost and the forgotten .

Everyday theres no relief especially for us mental cels, this depression I will take to my grave. Day becomes Night, Night becomes day, the addiction to dreaming my only sanctuary but then I awake worst than before into a reality I no longer exist in.
