I don't even think it's a skill issue on your part. The remastered uses this really shitty RNG bloom system rather than the traditional laser system used in the original RE4.
Who do you recommend? I mainly stick to SyntheticMan but he doesn't upload that often.
This guy is specialized in Resident Evil, though he also does no damage runs at the highest difficulty for other games. Not particularely speedruns, in this case. Even better though.
He complained a lot about RE4Rs' inconsistency when it was first released.
I so wanted to buy that game, but his playthrough and explanation put me off and I am grateful for it.

Watch all three parts and if you've played RE4R before you will understand how bad this game is.
I don't even bother shooting enemies, my run so far is just running past them and cheese a lot of encounters

get s rank in mercaneries and get hancanon and sell other weapons to upgrade it to max. Although some sections like del lago boss fight minecart section or ashely ones may be a pain in the ass just use a fucking trainer for it

re4r has better gameplay tho. My only gripes are cutting out entire u3 section so that normies dont get scared and second how they made leon a cuck soyboy faggot and censoring that ballistic line and making ada old foid
RE4R's gameplay is more tedious though. The parry is basically useless since you can't block grabs & Leon runs like a 50 year old man. Original's gameplay is more arcade like & faster pace.
original was easy to cheese once you got hang of it and had lot of progression blocking bugs on pc. Remake focused more on horror the maze section regeneradors were more scary than original. I still prefer original but re4 remake and re2 remake might be the only remake that feel like they are made by fans instead of corpo slop made for cash grab
Regenerators look more goofy in the remake than the original. Same with Mendez.
idk i feel regnerators and mendez were more goofy in original. Original was far more goofy than remake and i dont mean it in a bad way
