So far the novel is good, im on chapter 91 currently. But with even light novel, always preferred protagonist with some backbone like Ainz from Overlord or even Tatsuhiro Satou from Welcome to NHK.

I liked the first two seasons of the TG anime when I was around 12 and read the manga around that time, but I eventually dropped the series. Don’t remember why, just found that it got boring after awhile.
Why do you drop it? Because it get really good. I find Akira and Touka Parallel as great. Also the symbolism by used of Sphinx with Takatsuki Sen telling Amon the truth about the nature of CCG was interesting since it symbolizes both the journey of a destination for truth in regard to Kotaro character arc, mark from egypt conception of time and space derive from Syphnx which directly inflicts its its more tragic implications that derives from the Greek that lead to destruction and rebirth in Kotaro belief and reality. Drives forwards to the tether by destruction of his identity as the human investigator by the end of part 1.
