Also not really true. Our closest cousins, all the other great apes and primates, are all vegans. Eating meat highly likely helped us grow our brains, but it's not supposed to be our primary food source. And we can live very healthily without it. And the way it's raised and prepared, today, is downright unhealthy. Farming and agriculture only started around 11,000 years ago, so we didn't eat large amounts of meat prior to that. Probably mostly fish.
It's healthier than processed poison, but it appears a raw vegan diet is optimal. Meat is linked to all kinds of diseases and is the source of all kinds of bacteria and viruses. Meat doesn't even taste good, it's usually the processed flavourings (oils, salts etc) which people are savouring, not the meat-- ie the same stuff they're eating processed food for.
