I will go ER in Minecraft if you try and turn The Lounge into a concentration camp. I stay away from ID, because I like to be random and The Lounge is a very serene place. Sure, an IT infiltrator will invade occasionally, but The Lounge is nirvana.

in the 1 year break I went from this forum, the lounge has been turned into the sewers 2.0. It's become a place to post whatever you want without thinking or worrying about people criticizing it.

Ironically I think the exact opposite of what you just said, has happened.
All day every day zero users criticize you for posting low quality in the lounge. In the past, you'd have been told to post it in the sewers. Now you aren't, so the lounge is now full of slop. Infact, it's commonly held that low quality CAN be posted in the lounge.
I, one user, criticize you, and you call it a concentration camp. One user. That kind of shows that actually, the lounge isn't really policed at all. I don't know how you think I have the power to turn the lounge into anything. I can't do shit but tell you your post is bad and if that makes you cry then I don't care. Because every other user just lets it slide.
Also, you defending the claim that your post is low quality by saying 'noone should be allowed to comment on the quality of my threads that should not be allowed, let me post what I want', isn't an argument that your post isn't low quality. It's an argument that it is low quality and it doesn't matter.

The problem with posting in the sewers is that its so damn rotted people make posts like "title: nigger" and just postmaxx, or make spammy posts. So when you want to share a video or a song no one sees the thread as the sewers is filled with pure spam.

It's a pretty common opinion that the amount of teencels and fakecels has actually gone up over the last 2-5 years due to teenagers being internet addicts for longer periods of their life. Personally at least it's definitely been my experience over my time here that there's now way, way more teenagers, and less criticism of teenagers. And it's also more than a common opinion, but just kind of true, that all teenagers retention and attention has been going down, which would suggest lower quality posts. You might not be a teenager, but as far as I can see, 90% of this forum now are.

I hate identity a lot. It's my least favourite thing about other people. This statement means you can assert yourself as a based gigarotter while also not taking the blame for the shitness of the quality of the lounge. I've actually seen it be stated all 3 times, including this one, that I've criticized content in the lounge. 'Bruh im just a giga rotter'. Meanwhile rotters aged 25+ used to be more common, and they all made more effort. There's also another explanation for why the posts suck: 0 people but me criticize them which is a 1 way ticket to low quality posts.

Not only teens have lower retention attention spam (and shrinked PFC), in general anyone that uses digital drugs (tiktok, fast dumb videos, longer but sloppy content like the video in this thread or fast chats and videogames) gets affected by this reducing their general inteligence and raising their pleasure tolerance (so they get bored a lot easier). I havent been here in this forum years ago but i noticed and you probably noticed too that in general people of all ages are getting dumber, they read less (not only people dont read books but they dont read anything that is minimally long at all) and they write less. What im trying to say is that is not only fetuscels entering here but in general people are rotting more and more with digital drugs
The time pass and digital drugs get harder. Tiktok becomes a thing. Memes get retarded. Videogames get dumber and more stimulating. Even series get shorter, movies get more stimulating and less hard to comprehend. Things like news become entertainment. Even my dad which is 60 years old has fallen for digital drugs and he rotts every day laying in the sofa watching dumb """"political"""" or """news"""" (dumb entertainment disguised as information)
