The following happened:
one of the mods on ITears muted an admin that said there was problematic content on the sub.
The ITears sub was getting a lot of reports about a user that was posting information about IT users.
In response the admin said "muting me isn't an option here" "we'll see what will happen" and removed privileges from the ITears mod that muted them.
The admin was /u/Chtorrr
This was posted by the mod that got privileges taken away on ITears. Then an IT user posted about this on the bullying sub SubredditDrama which prompted a brigade of the ITears sub with many downvotes and provocative comments being hurled against the userbase of the ITears sub.
One of the mods on ITears also posted about how "thing aren't looking good for ITears" where IT users celebrated the occurence and said the ITears sub wouldn't be missed.
Then with the brigade prompted by the IT user some other IT users kept screenshotting the ITears sub on IT with the overused false plea that "they tried to reason with them".
The response of the mod that had privileges removed to all the brigading users from SubredditDrama and IncelTear was "cucks out." although some other users tried to argue against them.
The amount of users online increased to 2.0k at one point but decreased a few hours later although the thread that the mod made about how they muted an admin got 300+ upvotes while provocative comments kept being made.
The rest of the threads screenshotting what IT said received a lot of downvotes to make them less visible while the thread that were being brigaded received a lot of upvotes to maintain visiblity.
Then the ITears sub got banned because of "violation of content policy".
Here is some of the responses of IT users insisting everything they don't like is incel.
