Feminists like to argue that musclar men in media arent sexualized and are power fantasies ( i kinda agree), and say that if men were sexualized as woman are, they would be sexualized in the same way (emphasis on ass, bulge, feminine poses etc.) To show women how men feel when they get sexualized. This is they say due to patriarchy, and that female characters should look more realistic and frumpy to combat objectification. So basically the way women tend to be sexualized ( focues on tits and ass and body) is socially engineered to oppress women, and society could theoretically have a reverse (men being sexual beings and women being dominant). So thats the claim of discrimination. But if this is what true male sexualization looks like, why arent men irl showing their asses like how women do to attract them? In real life women tend to prefer actual masculine men, so why does media sexualization need to be "equal" if its not naturally equal irl? Even in foid gooner games like love and deepspace, the men still look muscular masucline ( which I thought was only for men to self project), they look a bit feminine sure but they arent acting like gay pornstars / feminine, they still act masculine. How will making female designs more progressive erase the sexual connatation the female body has irl?
