This means that Russia is now planning to annex Kharkhiv (6), Sumy (7), and Chernihiv (8). This is in line with what Russia's Vladimir Medinsky said at the recent Istanbul negotiations with Ukraine. He said that either Ukraine accepts the loss of its 4 provinces and makes peace, or if they choose to continue fighting, Russia will take 5 more provinces.

The capture of any major city means a great need for new contracts or mobilization, since the Russian army cannot take any strategic objects without using meat assaults.

to mobilize a large number of people you also need a large amount of military equipment, just giving hundred thousand men assault rifles is not enough, RF lacks military equipment for large mobilization, it went from barely enough numbers of soviet outdated junk in the beginning to desperate state when they have to use civilian vehicles and military equipment from 1950s/1960s (even that junk is dried up)
