PS4 is unable to recognize disc

I opened it up and cleaned it and when I put it back together the ps4 wouldn’t take the disc at all so now I’ve got 2 problems. Should I just replace the disc drive?

unscrew the disk drive itself and with a tip, lightly with some alcohol clean very gently the Lens. i had Done this to my PS3 when i was Playing a shit ton of Gran Turismo 6 it Did work for me.

Grab a tutorial from jewtube. to unmount the things to get there, during a fresh morning undisturbed.

Replacing PS4 DVD drives is fairly simple and cheap, so do it if you feel comfortable reassembling everything.

Try cleaning it and all that first.

I dissected it all today and cleaned the dust with compressed air and a microfiber cloth but still nothing. Disc drives only £30 so just gonna go with that

try aliexpress website or ebay for parts yeah. as a Last resort.
