People with higher iq can play politics far more effectively and weasel their way into top positions in shorter time than less intelligent peers. Basically being smart enhances statusmaxxing effectiveness. Not to be a redditor but I have seen many incel looking men do this in school last time, they happened to be gifted as well and didnt have to study at all to maintain top grades so more time to socialise. Simply put, unlike what mentally ill redditors love to claim, being smart actually makes you more sociable since you can pick up on social cues faster and more accurately.
