I think the problem is you don't really know what it's like to believe in it. When I was a kid I didn't care at all about my great grandfather dying because at the time I really thought he just went to heaven. On the other hand I was extremely paranoid that I would go to hell so religion can really mess up your head. It's about how we move past religion, and it's obvious our society chose hedonism as its new source of meaning
