[UWSL]There are 100 identical boxes, all covered, arranged in a row. in one of boxes, there is a diamond.

Each box has the following message written on its lid:

“the diamond is in the left or right box”. We know that exactly one of the messages is true and all others are false.

Opening only the lid of one of them, is it possible to find out where the diamond is?[/UWSL]

The box farthest to the left

The question is retarded. The most left box has no box to the left of it, therefore the message on the box is technically also not the truth. False or False == False

Why not the right most one? They seem symmetrical

It's not about the message in the farthest box, it's about the diamond.

Since there are no other messages stating something about the boxes in the extremes, therefore they are the only that can be the ones with the diamond

Correct.
