This article doesn't surprise me in the least. Back when I was a WN, the vast majority of my fellow WNs had dysthymia, cyclothymia or major depression. They were also mostly ugly incels.

How do you explain it? Personally, I think depression naturally makes people more distrustful and thus xenophobic. WNism is also a way to provide meaning and repel absurdity. Teleology is known to soothe depressed individuals.

When i used to be alt right, i was in an alt right chatroom 2 years ago and a chad-lite roped because he was depressed.
