My mom got me a few brooks brothers sweaters, and some shekels. My dad just gave me shekels. For some reason, my sister got me some socks with tigers on them and some kind of chocolate 
I got clothes. Actually they are the best gift ever as it's cold as fuck

my landlords got me a cheap pocket knife + AAA flashlight combo kit and a nice carhart-style vest. I gave their eldest daughter a sak/ victorinox Spartan. (last year I gave their eldest son a multi tool.)
I bought myself a new leatherman free p4, (not on sale);;; it's a super sweet tool, but way too heavy for edc. 8 gdmf oz!!!.. = desk queen!
so, I got a used leatherman bond + clip, for edc. and a $100 (!!!) used, 8 layer, stayglow sak swisschamp! (they go for much more (~$150) even without the rare gitd scales/handles! the previous owner modified the can opener to be a pull one, instead of the usual -crappy- push one) so it's kind of rough looking, scratched up, but I mostly wanted it to mod it... (into a scientific ranger)
I'll probably use the super rare and cool stayglo scales on my compact. and put the unmodded (plus-handled) swisschamp in my scooter toolbag... for emergencies. (swap the red compact + scales for the sweet yellow stayglow)
or...
I might just send the fucked up Swisschamp in for repairs. pay whatever for replacing the damaged tools... and then stick the fixed thing in my toolbag... (not a priority)
Unfortunately, stayglow scales are NOT "+scales" so I'll have to mod them to fit the pen and the pin... should be easy and sweet of a mod! stick them on my compact!!!
anyway them stayglow scales are gdmf awesome! hit them with a UV flashlight for a few seconds and they'll blind you all night!
as far as other sak tools I kind of want. the stayglow 111mm rescue tool and the stayglow classic would be sweet on my keychain. and maybe a ranger...
I really want a 84mm walker! (lumberjack) but I want a 3 layer custom one with a corkscrew, scissors and a awl. but it would cost a lot);;; ofc, I want stayglow scales for it as well, but they don't exist in 84mm. (and any custom 3d printed ones are not made of the same super glowing material!);
I'll probably get a bunch of them firefly /toothpick ferro rods and corkscrew tender thingies for all my saks...
after that, I might try my hand at modding my existing pile with some sweet titanium liners! (I fucking hate them standard aluminum ones!) them liners are >$20@ and have to be exact to work. so that's a big investment...

That’s good both are still alive. My dad was the closest friend I had in life and he died a while ago. I miss him a lot as we did lots of cool stuff together and just hung out a lot too.
Very happy my mom is still alive but I still miss him a lot. Especially when doing car related stuff like him and me used to do
