Does the VPN you use only have servers in France? If not, just pick another cuntry in the connection list.

Perhaps it will. Not a great loss tbh. The main reason was because the website didn't comply with new laws about verifying the users age.

These laws are impossible to put into practice because there is just too much alternatives and would require drastic changes that will go against liberties of the people (Mass banning domains of pornographic sites for instance).

Right now it's more of an IQ check more than anything, most of these bans just force you to use a vpn.

Honestly, nothing will happen in the long run.
