He is famous because, of his bones. His eye/hair colour isn't special in Lebanon. Even I have dark green eyes and my mom and elder brother are gingers. Plenty, of Hezbollahcels with light eyes died but only this guy became famous.

I think it’s a bit more complicated than just looks, but it does take part of it. Lots of people believe in a clash of civilisations mentality that views the entire Arab world at large as an enemy to the West.
