Venting Police got called on me for taking photos next to cheerleader practice

As a toycel, I go out a few times every week to take photos of my action figures. I found a great spot with a good backdrop. Only problem was that it was next to this park with a bunch of cheerleaders practicing there along with kids skate boarding.

Some Mom called the cops on me, they show up, start talking to me, ask me what I'm taking photos of, they gave me weird looks when they found out it was my action figures, then asked to see my camera, I showed them the photos, they left. Luckily I didn't get arrested.

It's not illegal to take photos of adults in public areas but it is illegal to take photos of children in public areas. I'm pretty sure the girls were high school cheerleaders, so it's illegal since they're children. Thing was that I was there first before they showed up for their practice.

I dont know where you live but i wouldnt give permissions for a search. And i would also just continue making pics.
You will sooner or later find out who reported you and then you can report them back for false accusation.

Yeah, you guys are right. I could've just refused but truth be told I was embarassed and wanted to show them I'm not a pervert and actually just a guy minding my own business. I don't know why I felt prideful to show them I'm normal but I wanted to for some reason.
