Isn't Armenid also found there a bit? Same for West Alpinid

Yes. I was actually just about to comment about that.

Here's its anthropology:

For the map on this site:

It shows it is there, but not very common except for Greece which I'm not sure is counted here(I don't think so, would be more like West Anatolia+Greece for its own thread)

It does share a few vague similarities with Dinarid though.

Strange. Greece is counted in this thread though, read the descriptions OP gave for Pontid and Litorid.

You're right, it is closer in morphology to Dinarid than any other type.

Funny enough, it's not even indigenous to Armenia or the Middle East. Anthropologists named the type "Armenoid" because of the resemblance it has to modern Armenians

Interesting West Alpinid is found in North Greece, I wonder if that has to do with Slavic migrations there?
Might be its mountainous terrain. A lot of these phenotypes are influenced by and diverge from other phenotypes thanks to geographic factors

OP, just one question—why do you do use the alternate term for the Armenoid type? I know both Armenoid and Armenid are often used interchangeably, but in all the literature I read, Armenoid refers to the type in a broader sense, and Armenid seems to focus on Armenians specifically

I was under the impression that Armenid was a specific phenotype while Armenioid was an umbrella term akin to Mediterranid or Alpinid

It’s all accurate but there is also the Neo-Danubian type that is common in Balkans
