As I see it he's a good looking guy who found a niche by talking about typical "nerd" stuff and playing video games while being better looking than almost any guy who is into that stuff. I've only watched a few of his vids, but I think his schtick is to make Red Bull or Nike style "extreme" or "motivational" videos. He does a lot of outdoors sports and other things most people couldn't or wouldn't do and he's obviously in very good physical shape.

I respect that and the fact that he's become somewhat popular despite not having the best face.
