Peterson vocalizes every intuition I had during my painful teenage years. He demonstrates with talent that I was not crazy. Human societies have dominance hierarchies, and just like in every other species, your looks play a big role in your place on this hierarchy. If you attempt to get past your looks, other people will remind you your place through public humiliation.

Peterson proposes tactics to mitigate the negative effects of these primal dominance mechanics, but it's not the same as being bluepill. Bluepill is denying reality, he accepts it and promotes it.

I also like how its written as if its specifically targeted towards men. I discussed some of the ideas with women I know (who sympathize with my condition), like Eves "victimhood" and Adams inherent "stupidity".... they go straight to the defensive.

That may be because I'm rich myself (I don't feel money-related envy anymore), but I honestly don't care if Peterson is financially successful. If anything, I'm glad that someone who knew both extremes of the dominance hierarchy (he was bullied and knows first-hand what depression is) manages to keep his place at the top.

Anyway, I've listened to 12 rules for life during my workouts and it's just standard self improvement drivel without a lot of the blue pilled bullshit. It's fine, but it's not going to fix an ugly face so what good is it to us?
