Personality is seen as some tangible quality but it is in fact much more nebulous. Personality is the externalized social process which translates from what you've internalized from your surroundings throughout your life. If you have a good face, you will be met with positive reinforcement from the crib. You will be treated better than your less attractive peers and as your "personlity" starts to manifest itself, you will externalize based upon all those positive sentiments. You will be more confident, more sociable, more extroverted and so a feedback loop is created where you receive social capital that you can then capitalize upon. Being born good-looking is a win-win situation that will make you well-liked and normal despite any flaws. On the flip side, being born ugly is a negative feedback loop that will hamper any construction of confidence. There will always be an uphill battle and you will always have to strive to get people to like you. This results in shyness, introversion and sometimes bitterness. FACE is the foremost predictor of having a normal, "good" personality and even when good looking people display bad personality traits, they will be rationalized away. Just look at the extreme case of Richard Ramirez. He received thousands of fan mail from foids despite being a scummy serial killer. With a good face, you can't go wrong. Personality = FACE. If we had better faces, our personalities would be perceived as "better". IT doesn't understand this. There is no way to foster a "good personality" unless you've got the backing of a wide jawbone etc., at least not a good personality in terms of creating sexual attraction. It's over.
