I’ve noticed this, as someone who grew up in an upper middle class home I was very socially awkward (and the people there were kind of trend hopping, materialistic idiots, or just obnoxious snobby rich people who would fucking cry if they saw the real world); from what I’ve gathered: rich parents tend to spoil their kids into oblivion, to the point where all their conversations are just normie garbage or they hardly converse at all, due to having all their desires met (even though it’s not a substitute for real interaction), usually they just spoil the kids to get them off their back and to give themselves some alone time, but this leads to narcissists and socially inept people, just look at Mark Zuckerberg for example: dudes an iPad kid before iPads were a thing, and he was born into money.
