Can't wrap my mind around how people call Adam Driver "a shit villain" while praising Anakin Skywalker ffs.
-Anakin Skywalker: edgy cunt with an extremely forced and artificial character development, specially his turn to the dark side. Like lmao you are shocked and traumatized after helping kill Mace Windu but then 5 minutes of movie and you are killing children without remorse wtf is that. Even as an edgy early teen this shit was so off I coudln't even.Also lmao at almost killing Padme when the whole point of going to the dark side was saving her. He goes from reckless protector to women beater. Absolute shit character all around. But hey he has a very gl face so all is good right. One dimensional, rushed and unrealistic as fuck character tho.
-Kylo Ren: Inexperienced young man with a huge amount of natural power. Steady character development. Fearsome guy when you see him display his abilities. Built his own lightsaber from shit scraps and old blueprints. Held in midair a sniper blaster bolt. Held his own fighting two main characters while wounded by the wookie crossbow, which was shown before sending soldiers flying around. But he loses his temper and control when things don't go as expected, and he is shown to have fear, fucking up or generally what you would expect from someone super powerful but with a lack of experience. He is showing actually losing control of things, and he was trained on the dark side since much more time than Anakin. He was a dark side character but with a steady and good development and, above all, REALISTIC portrayal, unlike anakin who suddenly goes from kind hero to dark triad stoic edgy super-evil wannabe in 5 minutes of one single movie and also suddenly has everything under control even if yesterday he was siding with the Jedi still. Kylo Ren was 10000 times better as a villain than Anakin Skywalker.
But hey, hayden crhistensen was an 8 with great jaw and eye area while Driver only has height and frame, and a mediocre face. Who does the mainstream public like as a character and who does mainstream public think its shit as a character? Yes, looks rule everything.
Oh and I also hated the rushed Rey developtment too. Her sudden force power-ups and her sudden ability with a lightsaber on some fights were screaming "one movie about rey development is missing here".
