As far as I know, they have not set an age for this character, she is just refered to as a "teen". She has the stature of a 13-15 year old girl, but they've given her nice tits, hips and ass. The voice acting sounds like an anime schoolgirl, and in some models she even has pigtails. To cap it all off, the Peni Parker from the Spiderverse movies looks like this:
Definitely, it seems they want to make the character pedobait and get away with it without explicitely stating her age. If they are pressed on it, they will probably put in the game that she is 18. It reminds me of when Overwatch came out and originally D.va was meant to be 16, but so much porn was made of the character (even using the in game model) that they had to retcon her age to 21 as an overcorrection. Hell, even Peni in this game plays very much like D.va, as she has a mech that she can be out of. In fact, this entire game is basically just an Overwatch clone.
But it just makes me laugh that studios know that people want to see teen/young girl characters in games, but because of western sensibilities, they have to skirt the issue and do backtracks. I will not be surprised if some devs get cancelled over this. This is why Japan is better. They can just make loli characters and they don't have to answer to anyone.
