For people who have knowledge about PC building and specs: So my pc has been running a bit slow lately (FPS lower than usual and ram usage little bit higher) and i'm wondering if is should upgrade anything, money isn't a problem
PC specs:
GPU RX 6600 XT
1,5TB space
650W psu
ryzen 5 5600x
16gb ram 3200
msi b550 gaming plus motherboard

What are you running that's slow?

That's a fine well matched entry-level PC

For gaming, 6600 XT would be the first thing to improve but now is a terrible time for that

All fps games but gta v in particular.
I might upgrade the 6600 in near future

if you want to keep Ryzen 5 5600X but want gaming performance improvement, your stock speed CPU must handle RTX 3070 in 1080p without much bottleneck from CPU. If you want better GPU then you would need to get Ryzen 7 5700X3D at least and for better GPU new PSU cause i doubt that 650w will handle 80 series GPUs from Nvidia or top tier AMD

weird, have you downloaded recent re-release with RT? Could be a reason. GTA 5 works very well even on something like GTX 1650.
I have all updates in check, i might have to try restoring the pc

I would buy a 2nd hand RTX 4070/Ti, your cpu is still fine. X3D cpus are a meme unless you are on something like RTX 4090.

for the past 9 years, when has it not been a terrible time to upgrade your GPU? kek, i've been meaning to upgrade for years.. gen after gen it keeps getting worse

So AMD and nvidia gpus working together?

Nope replace and sell AMD GPU and get a stronger Nvidia GPU. But it may be redundant since you could mess your settings that's why it runs so badly. Are you running on new Enhanced edition or something?

Legacy edition

I have an X3D and mostly agree. Their only real benefit is better 1% lows to somewhat mitigate stutter, but then Intel CPUs are better for that purpose. I just got mine when 5700x3d was cheap so why not.

The cheapest 4070 Ti on eBay currently is $600. 4070 is about $450-500 and that's only 70% better than what he has now. Fuck that. I really don't know a worthy upgrade for him that won't rape the wallet.
