If you don't know who he is, he's an Irish motivational speaker who did a few Ted talks etc.
So basically, we were in an auditorium full of students from different grades, some from different schools even. The first thing I remember him saying is: "You are all special." Not even five minutes later, he asked this tall guy with a huge frame how old he is. When he said 16, Paul said: "Wow, you're huge!" and asked him to stand up in front of everyone so that everybody could see him. At the end, I personally asked him if he genuinely believes that everyone's special, and he said yes.
The reason why he came to my school is because the Croatian government is very desperate to keep young people inside the country. Two most popular destinations for moving out are Germany and Ireland. Of course, it's much easier to send an Irishman who tells people: "Oi, you fucking Croat! Get the fuck out of Ireland!" in an extremely sugarcoated way than it is to fix your shitty economy and corruption.
