I used to use the word "partner" as a gender-neutral alternative for "girlfriend", "boyfriend", "husband" or "wife", because I avoid excessive details when it's not necessary. Now I realize I was wrong. Partnership requires roughly similar terms, a transaction or a relation where each side gives and receives roughly the same. It's not true for "romantic partnerships/relationships" though, a male and female "partner" mean completely different things. In fact, "boyfriend" is just an euphemism for a "slave" and "girlfriend" an euphemism for a "slave owner"/"master".
Unless you're some gigachad, you're never equal to your girlfriend. She has infinite social advantage over you and she knows it. If she dumps you, it'd be a humiliation for you, and if you dump her, it'd be an even bigger humiliation for you because men are not allowed to be picky (and that means you have to endure getting abused) and you'll be accused of being gay. As a boyfriend, you're basically held hostage and you have to cooperate to survive.
Girlfriends are there to receive, boyfriends are there to give. You have to constantly prove yourself and never expect anything back. You're supposed to approach a foid, compliment her, give her flowers, gifts, pay for your dinners etc. You can never expect a foid to do anything romantic to you. All you get is access to a cave of darkness between her legs.
