What does everyone think about the near/ long future when it comes to securing our future finances and well being.
For me, I'm stuck. 30, job is tied to the area I'm in. Living at home still. Have the cash to get a shitty house in an shitty area out right, but I just don't dig it. Basically, want to hear everyone's thoughts on being too picky, indecisive, retarded, to move out. And no, I think we all already know that, no, moving out isn't magically going to "fix," you/us/me, or our situations.
I have no disillusions either that my current living situation, while not ideal, (shame, embarrassment, no control, ownership, or privacy...) BUT, company, (like who else but family would I socialize with anyway,) low rent/ helps to save, laundry still done for me, meals made, (which is good and bad, because I'd eat even healthier and less if I was on my own, like egg drop soup type thinmax craziness,) shared cleaning and maintenance, plus other abstract things, like my parents are old so I'd have 2 lawns, 2driveways... to take care of if I split.
The anxiety and uncertainty of life in general in all aspects; socially, romantically, economically... I genuinely don't know what I should do, or want to do, or could do...
What should we be doing, right now, or if not now, when? Just mindlessly stash cash. Lock in a house and a mortgage now because it's only going to get worse? Stack cash, stocks, metals, crypto...? Start a business? Just focus on being happy, lol, good one right, how, what sparks joy anymore?
Life doesn't come with a game guide, most people at least got tutorials, and better starting stats. I'm not saying that to be salty, I'm only saying that for most people, everything just comes to them, friends, women, kids, life, it just happens. But, if you're like me, it's hard to get out of your head, period. Nothing but over thinking and stressing in an introverted, socially retarded head.
What are you doing, what has worked, what is working, what isn't, what didn't?
